The world that Misty found herself in was a fearsome one. She was a water droplet, alone in a lake. She was not there for long, though. She flowed into the river, where she endured a tough battle between the river and the groundwater, each trying to take her using the power of gravity.

Misty escaped from the battle, flowing into an ocean. The ocean brought her to the deep depths of the ocean, where she was unscathed by the sun. She floated for a while, experiencing peace. The ocean had different plans, though. Misty was brought to the surface, where she experienced evaporation due to the heat energy from the sun.

Misty was brought up into the clouds, where she became condensation. The condensation formed clouds, which then came down as precipitation, bringing her back down into the ocean. She was excited for the reunion of her former home, but was then taken back to the clouds yet again.

The clouds and ocean tossed her back and forth, as the sun’s heat evaporated her. She turned into condensation, and then she would be brought down as precipitation only to end up back in the sky, repeating the cycle. Finally, the clouds decided to spit her out onto a glacier as snow, another form of precipitation.

She entered the clouds again, and rained down into the beloved ocean for the last time. Once again, she was up in the clouds, snowing upon a glacier. She rested, but her rest was interrupted by the clouds, yet again, as she became condensation once more. She rained down upon a lake, where she spent time reminiscing about the start of her perilous journey, and the travels she had endured.

Her last movement was caused by gravity. She was taken underground to become groundwater, where she finished her long, treacherous journey against the power of the water cycle.
