This multi-ethnic, multilingual society results in diversity in all aspects of daily life in Malaysia – from language to cuisine to art to religion.

Malaysian cuisine’s influences include Chinese, Indian and Malay.
In some ways, it’s similar to Indonesian food, with the two nations sharing many of the same dishes.

4. Festivals

Major festivals like Chinese New Year, Independence Day, Deepavali, and Christmas are widely celebrated. Other festivals
Dragon Boat Festival, Mooncake Festival, and other harvest festivals.
5. Malaysian Batik

Perhaps the most popular handicraft and type of fabric in Malaysia is Malaysian batik.
Batik fabric is used for clothing, pillowcases, table runners and tablecloths, placemats, sarongs, scarves, or as tapestries.
