Why do some people call football:” soccer”? One of the best-known differences between British and America is the fact that the sport known as Football in Great Britain is usually called soccer in the United States. Because the sport originated in England, it is often assumed that soccer is Americanism. The answer lies in how the sport developed in each country. Rugby, named after an English boarding school, was a variation that allowed players to carry and run to advance it toward their goals. American Association- 

Football players increasingly adopted soccer to refer to their sport. Canada has its version of gridiron football; Ireland is home to Gaelic football (derived from Rugby). In each country, we have different forms of football with different rules so to win, the team needs to score the maximum grade(In this case we use Math).

The rules of the Football game are easy enough to understand. There are 11 players on each team. The match lasts 90 minutes and is split into 2 halves of 45 minutes. The aim of the game is to score a goal for the opposite team. In football as in Math, there are strict rules that can’t be changed.
