Ben Nadel – All My Sons

Dear Diary,

This is the day I came back from war.
Finally, it is over, and I will be home soon, after all of this time.

I feel bad about myself, really bad, even though I get to live, a lot of people that matter to me do not.

It will be very hard to forget everything that I went through, I will never forget how they got to die, and I will for sure not forget the times I’ve spent with them.

Because I’m alive, I may feel bad, but to satisfy myself, the purpose of my life, I have to take myself seriously and pick up the broken pieces of my time left to live and make use of it.

After all of this time, I really think that people may have changed, in my opinion after this war, I think every person started to take their lives more seriously and hope people can understand now how really important are the people connected to them.
