He begins to realize that his son was a good and honest person, and he feels even more ashamed of his own actions.

Eventually, Joe finds his son’s grave and kneels beside it, overcome with emotions. He begins to understand the magnitude of his mistake and the pain it has caused. He feels a strong urge to make amends and decides to turn himself in to face the consequences of his actions.

As Joe begins his journey back to his home, he realizes that his life will never be the same. He has lost his son and his reputation, but he has gained a newfound sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the importance of being honest and taking responsibility for one’s actions.
