Hazelwood Family Medicine is a full-service independent medical practice serving the needs of adults and adolescents throughout Western North Carolina. Our founder, George W. Brown, MD, practiced medicine for over 50 years. In 2002, Dr. Brown’s son, Michael A. Brown, MD joined his father in providing quality care to our patients. We also have two Nurse Practitioners, Janet James and Terisa Jones. Together they bring a wonderful combination of knowledge and caring in order to serve your individualized health care needs.
