The purple egg By Shahar Arell & Aya Avinoam.

Hi, I’m Emma. Let me tell you a story that I will never forget. It all started when my best friends Alex, Jake and l were hanging out in woods, when suddenly we found a cave. We went towards the cave and inside we found a mysterious purple egg. ”What is this?” Jake asked looking at the egg .”What do you think?” said Alex seeing for sure it was an egg ,but why would there be a random egg in a cave? Jake picked up the egg and started throw it in the air. “You know it reminds me of a fairytale I’ve heard”

“What fairytale?” I asked. “According to what I’ve heard, they said it’s a magical egg that stops time, but I don’t really remember the story.” he said and Alex and I laughed. “Who ever told you that is really stupid” Alex laughed. Even though it’s a stupid story I have a bad feeling. ”Jack think fast!” Alex said as he tossed Jack the egg and without noticing, we started playing with the egg. “I have to admit I’m intrigued to know what’s inside” said Alex and without thinking too much, he threw the egg on the ground and it broke.

When the egg broke I felt a strange feeling and I knew I wasn’t the only one, when I saw their facial expressions .“Why did you do that?” I asked. “um.. guys..?” Jake said as he looked up at the sky. Alex and I looked up and I was shocked.. There were birds in the sky that weren’t moving. It was like.. its frozen. I thought I was hallucinating .. We started running until we saw people and they weren’t moving.

“Why aren’t they moving?” Jake asked stressed and started yelling and slapping people and they just didn’t move. “This is so cool!” Alex said and started to get excited “Are you serious!?” Jake shouted “Think about it, we can do whatever we want” he said״ I don’t know what to think, I’m still in shock״ I said and realized that we can do anything. We had everything we wanted and needed. After a few days we started to miss our family, and even though we could see them, we couldn’t talk to them. So we started to figure out a way that time will go back to normal.

We went to the library and started checking the books, and the Internet. A week has passed and we still couldn’t find anything. I feel like I’m in a never-ending nightmare. Me and Jake took every possible book while Alex was looking for information about the fairytale when suddenly I heard Jake’s voice “I found it!” me and Alex ran to him and saw him holding a book “Look at the picture, it’s The same egg!!”  Jake said. ”Ok, it says that when someone break the purple egg, time will stop” said Jake

”Jake, get to the part that says how to fix it” I said ”in the case of the desire to return time to its original state, you’ll have to fix the egg and return it to the place where you found it.” Said Jake. We return to where we broke the egg, and used the glue we brought to fix it. When we fixed the egg, I had the same strange feeling I felt when we broke the egg. We all looked up to the sky, and saw that the birds were moving again!. ”The birds are moving!” said Jake with excitement. We ran to where we saw the people and they were moving too!. ”Everything is back to normal!” said Alex. And that’s the story on how we stopped time.
