
How to Make Challa

During the covid19 I discovered that I really like to bake,
The thing I like to bake the most is challah.
I will share with you the process of making challah.
Ingredients:
Mixer
Measuring cups
1 kg of white flour
2 tablespoons dry yeast
½ cup of white sugar
¼ cup of olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
500-600 ml of water
Sesame seeds
1.Put the flour and yeast in the mixer bowl and mix for a few seconds.
- Add sugar, olive oil and half of the water. And mix it for a minute.
- Add salt and the rest of the water and mix it for 8 minutes at a slow speed, until the dough is soft and one unit.
4.Remove the dough to a large bowl and cover with a towel for an hour and a half – to rise.
5.Divide the dough into balls (according to the number of strips you want to braid the challa), and puff for another 40 minutes.

Prepare the challa shape as you want, and put the toping that you want.
- Put the challa to puff for one hour.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake it about 35-40 minutes.
