The ceremony of lighting the beacons is the official ceremony that
closes the events of the Day of Remembrance for the martyrs of Israel's
systems and the victims of hostilities and opens the
Independence Day celebrations. The ceremony was held at Mount Herzl Plaza
(on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem), where the grave of the state contract holder
, Benjamin Ze'ev Herzl, is located.
The central personality in it is the Speaker of the Knesset,
in addition to him, ministers, members of the Knesset, the Chief of Staff
, members of the diplomatic staff, bereaved families, the disabled of
the IDF and other personalities are present at the ceremony. The ceremony
, which is broadcast live on the main television and radio channels
, is intended to equal this day A dignified and festive atmosphere, and for
this purpose the grave plot is decorated with a setting that includes
the symbols of the 12 tribes of Israel, and colored lighting, audio-visual
and pyrotechnic means are used.

I like the torch lighting ceremony because it is a festive ceremony
in the atmosphere of Independence Day, which Israel celebrated this week
for its 75th anniversary.
