As one of the most accomplished and famous performers of our time, Beyoncé has a wealth of experience and expertise in various areas.
If I were interviewing Beyoncé, there are a few possible questions I would like to ask.
What inspired your latest album? How did you approach the songwriting and production process? How has your music evolved over the years?
Beyoncé has returned.
Six years after releasing Lemonade, Queen B has now issued her latest solo album Renaissance.
Renaissance was recorded over the course of the pandemic.
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.
It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”
How do you prepare for a show? What is your favorite part of performing live? How do you connect with your audience?
“I say a prayer with everyone in the band, we do a stretch, I sit in my massage chair while they do my hair and make-up and I have an hour of peace and I have a playlist that I listen to every day. That’s my ritual”
She creates a pseudo-connection with her fans that makes them feel like a part of her while. Not only does she post images from her concerts, music videos and day to day activities she also posts about causes she is passionate about which happen to be common ground for her savvy fan base.
How have you used your platform to promote social justice causes? What advice do you have for people who want to make a difference in their communities?
Beyoncé is more than just a decorated and beloved singer and performer, she’s doing her part to make sure the world is a safer and equitable place. Whether she’s using her massive platform to promote a vegan diet or advocate for social justice, she understands the importance of supporting others, as well as protecting our planet.
From highlighting the issues facing communities of color to fighting hunger and food insecurity.
