SARAH TOPS

Two weeks ago gang broke into jewelry store.

A man was killed while running out of the Museum of Natural History. The man belonged to a gang which broke into a jewelry store. He was probably killed by the other robbers who had suspected him of trying to cheat them and keep a large diamond for himself.

The man’s last words were, “Try Sarah Tops.” The police did not know who or what Sarah Tops was. They tried to solve the case, but without success.

The son of the detective in charge finally solved the mystery. The boy, whose favorite subject was Natural History, knew every corner and every exhibit in the museum. Like a good guide, he took his father to a large room full of bones and teeth. There, he stopped near a skeleton of a dinosaur.

Something flashed inside a piece of gum that was stuck on the skeleton. It was the diamond the man had tried to hide from the other robbers.

“Try Sarah Tops” was, in fact, “Triceratops” – the dinosaur’s name!
