MANESKİN

Maneskin is an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The group consists of vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio. The band gained fame by finishing second in the 11th season of the X Factor competition in Italy in 2017, after starting their career as street musicians.

The band’s first EP was released in 2017 under the name “Chosen”. Their first album, “II Ballo Della Vita” was released in 2018. Finally in 2021, they released their album RUSH!ARE YOU COMING? .Their song “Zitti e Buoni” which they performed at Eurovision has reached millions of listeners on various music platforms (Deezer, Spotify, Youtube, Last fm). Additionally, they gained widespread popularity including on social media platforms with their cover of the song “Beggin” originally by the music group “Madcon”.

DAMİANO DAVİD 

Damiano David was born on January 8th 1999 in Rome, Italy, as the child of Daniele David and Rosa Scognamiglio both of whom are flight attendants. Due to the nature of his parents work, he and his older brother Jacopo traveled the world from an early age and were exposed to various cultures. He started singing at the young age of 6. He showed some talent while playing point guard for the local club Eurobasket Roma until the age of 17. During his high school days, he met the future members of Maneskin, Victoria De Angelis and Thomas Raggi. He attended Liceo and Eugenio Montale in Rome but didn’t complete high school.David speaks English and can also speak some Spanish and French. He is an advocate for race and LGBT rights. He is also a devoted fan of the association football club AS Roma.

VİCTORİA DE ANGELIS

De Angelis was born in Rome to a Danish mother and Italian father. Her mother died from cancer when she was 15. She has a sister who is three years younger. From a young age, rock music represented a longing for freedom for her. De Angelis started playing guitar at 8 and picked up bass in seventh grade because of her passion for music.In an interview with Elle, she shared that she experienced panic attacks at 14, which led her to miss a year of school. De Angelis went to Scuola Media Gianicolo for middle school, where she met fellow band member and guitarist Thomas Raggi. She later finished her education at Liceo Scientifico J.F. Kennedy. De Angelis has mentioned Nick O’Malley and Kim Gordon as her influences

THOMAS RAGGİ

Thomas Ruggie was born on January 18, 2001 in Rome. At science school, Kennedy met Victoria (Victoria De Angelis), with whom he entered the new Maneskin Formation in 2014. Thomas, a passionate guitarist, still continues to play his guitar with the same passion.

ETHAN TORCHİO

Italian drummer Ethan Torchio was born on October 8, 2000 in Rome. His father is a director. He also has 8 siblings born to 8 different mothers. Ethan spent a lot of time on movie sets and producing music. Also, he prefers not to share the details of his private life.He speaks too muc on interview but actually he is not very talkative all the time.
