Our trip to the Carpatians

This year we decided to spend our holidays in the Carpathians.

On a beautiful sunny June morning we began our journey. Since we were traveling by car, it took us approximately 11 hours.

Finally we arrived at our destination  the village of Mikulinichi

          Mikuklinichy  

According to historical research, the first riddles and the last ones on the territory of the Yaremchan region date back to the 10th century. The Drevlyansky prince Mal, in the area of the present village of Mykulychyna, founded a military town (settlement) under the name of Speed for the protection of the cordons of Kievan Rus.

Mikuklinichy is one of the oldest and largest villages in Ukraine.Its area is 31 sq. km.

We lived in a picturesque countryside at the foot of the mountain in an environmentally friendly house.

Everything in this house was made of wood

Verkhovyna Yaremche Rakhiv.

During our trip we visited Verkhovyna – the heart of the Carpathians, Yaremche, Rakhiv.

Rakhiv is the geographical center of Europe

Everyone who visits there must touch the symbolic sign.

Yaremche is a climatic resort and the center of “green” tourism in the Carpathian region and the entire Hutsul region.

One of the attractions is the Porobiy waterfall. The waterfall itself is a very beautiful place.

Fans of extreme recreation are offered many types of tourism

A trip to the Carpathians

is never complete if you do not try extreme tourism:

a trip to the mountains on a buggy

swimming in vats

hiking in the mountains

riding on a high-mountain swing

Our trip wasn’t long.

But it was really unforgetable. It was so impressed.

That was experience we’ll never forget.
