for 3rd Grade

To Educators:
Geared towards 3rd grade
As students begin to advance in their science based learning it is important to understand how the plant cycle works along with what affects the growth of plants. In this lesson, students will revisit some past knowledge of plants and learn some new ones. New terms will be introduced along with more in depth models and worksheets. By learning how plants grow and what affects them hands on will benefit their knowledge of this topic more effectively.

- Grow a bean into seedling
- Use different forms of measurement to determine plant growth over time
- Make a data chart, recording this data they have seen throughout the growth process
