It is a boardgame that almost everyone can play and learn it easily.That game, with its deep-rooted history, has taken place in the minds of many of us since childhood.The game is played on an 8×8 grid, consisting of 64 squares and involves two players with 16 pieces each and they are : one king, one queen, two castle, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The objective is to checkmate the opponent king meaning to trap it in such a way that it cannot escape with any kind of movement.While the rules of chess are simple to learn, mastering the game requires deep thinking, strategic planning, and patience. Chess stimulates the brain by encouraging players to think multiple steps ahead, anticipate their opponent moves, and manage complex decision making scenarios for players.
