My trip to New York

I want to tell you about my trip to New York!

I traveled in alot of places in the United States but i chose New York to my story as my favorite place.

When i got off the plane a friend of my dad who is a taxi driver was waiting for us,

and took us on a tour in the city!.

He started to drive and slowly i saw in front of my eyes a beautiful view of a skyscrapers and endless streets at this moment i knew that i’m going to have alot of fun!.

We came to the hotel late at night, so we didn’t had much time in the first day, but we decided the next day we will travel all day!

We woke up early in the morning in order to earn time and make the day longer.

The employees in the hotel suggest us to go to the Statue of Liberty.

Because the Statue of Liberty is on an island there no other way to get their but taking a boat or a helicopter.

We took a boat and we saw an amazing statue, this is what symbolizes the United States.

A travel guide explained us that the statue was giving by the French government as a gift.

At first it was made of copper and because of the sea salt the waves hit the statue alot of years and also because of its aged it turned green.

It was a very interesting day!

When I was in New York the date was 11/9 the day that the “twins” buildings were bombed in a terror attack.

It’s a very important day for the Americans and they note that day with big ceremonies and more other motifs.

My parents and I walked all over the streets and the monuments in memory of the fallen.

There are huge monuments that all the names of the fallen are engraved in the monuments and in each name was a flower, all the flowers together created kind of a beautiful blooming field!

Opinion:

Some kids in my class think that an annual trip is a great experience and some of them don’t.

I didn’t go to the trip because i was sick.

When my friends came back from the trip they said that the trip was very bad: they walked alot, the food was disgusting, they said that they found nails in the pasta.

Some of them even returned back home with my teacher in a train.

I thought to myself:”The destiny was good to me and basicly i’m preety content I wan’t able to go to the trip.
