There once was a man

With a really great tan

Whose work was to match socks.

On his way to work

At exactly 8 o’clock

He would meet a weird-looking cock.

With his weird-looking feet

He would wave and then greet

The man on his way to his work.

Everytime he would see

Up to one knee

A sock on the leg of the cock.

Then one day

The man went out of his way

To find him a matching sock.

Time went by

And the cock wondered why

He no longer enjoys them socks.

He would sneeze and then scratch,

“But the sock was a match!”

Said the man when he heard of the slock.
