Our trip to London was eventful. We arrived on Friday. On Saturday we spent the day with our splendid friends Antigoni and George from Bristol. It rained, but not on our parade. Antigoni found the best fish and chips place off Oxford Street. We subsequently frequented it frequently.

A very special treat was lunch with my internet hero, Jimmy Wales, and Orit. Jimmy is also the alter ego to Jimmy the Whale, one of my children’s books with Rotem Omri. The other star of the book was Jeff Pulver, alias Jeff the Mis-fish. We sang Jeff happy birthday but no one heard us. Perhaps we were underwater.

Jimmy admired my musical suspenders. I made a donation. I forgot that suspenders keep my pants up. The trip home was almost eventful.

Our dear friend and resident psychiatrist Prof. Zvi Zemishlani was in town. We hung out with him for hours, discussing the meaning of life. I don’t remember exactly what we talked about, but meaningful it was

We finally met and bonded with Kamlesh Mohindra, who is the mother of our dear friend Shibani (cover), and a famous writer of children’s books and school texts in India.

We were in town for the opening of the Bienalle featuring work by two graduates of Shenkar College. The president (left), Professor Yuli Tamir, invited us to attend. We took a selfie with Dganit Stern-Schocken who couldn’t believe her eyes.

Here I am with the proud Shenkar graduate.

And here with my new friend Jonathan, who has yet to e-mail me.

Amy was not in the house, but her friends were. We sang in her memory (it WAS her birthday, after all).

And no visit is complete without breakfast with Howard. Even if it was a quick lunch.

It was our anniversary. Elton serenaded us from the balcony. Happy Anniversary to us!!
