The three types of plate boundaries are:

-Divergent (definition: 2 tectonic plates spreading apart to make heated water spew upwards)

-Convergent (definition: 2 tectonic plates moving and smashing together)

and

-Transform (definition: plates moving beside each other)

Examples:

Transform- Gulf of California , Alpine Fault of New Zealand

Convergent- Washington-Oregon coastline , Juan de Fuca

Divergent- Mid-Atlantic Ridge , Eurasian Plate

Earthquakes are created by convergent and divergent plate boundaries.

Volcanoes are formed the same way as earthquakes.

Sea floor is created by divergent boundaries.

Sea floor is destroyed by convergent boundaries.

Mid-Ocean ridges are formed from divergent boundaries.

Deep ocean trenches are formed from convergent boundaries.
