MY CHRISTMAS!

Dear cousin,

Christmas is my favourite time of year.We start our ‘’Christmas activities’’by decorating our home with lights,holly and mistletoe.On the 8th of December my family and I prepare the Christmas and green tree with lights and tinsel.On Christmas Eve we have a very very big dinner with our relatives (aunt,uncle,grandparents,cousins)and we eat a lot of fish,fried potatoes,vegetables,appetizers,a lot of dried fruit and some sweets(cakes,biscuits…).

At midnight we put our Christmas letter for Santa Claus on the trees and next we go to bed.

On Christmas morning we find a lot of small and big presents under the tree.Then we go to church to celebrate the Birth of Christ.On our way home we usually sing some Christmas songs together and we dance with joy.At 1.30 we have Christmas lunch.First we eat a big appetizer,then we eat a lot of baked pasta,a lot of different types of meat,soup,vegetables and dried fruit.For dessert we eat ‘’PANETTONE’’and we toast with champagne.

In the afternoon,with all the relatives,we play board games,in particular we play bingo for two or three hours.In Italy we also celebrate the day of ‘’Santo Stefano’’ on the 26th of December.

On this day my family and I go to see the lights in the town centre or in a different city in the evening.

MY DIGITAL GADGETS by ILENIA DI CHIARA

I have a lot of digital gadgets:a cell phone,a computer,a tablet,nintendo….

They are very important for me because I use them for the school homework, play videogames, take photos for my teachers…and other things.

The most important is my cell phone:it is an Iphone 6E; its colours are silver and white and it is very confortable for me.With it I can take photos on Snapchat,I surf the Internet,I play games,I send messages and emails,I post videos or photos,I phone my friends and I delete unnecessary photos.It isn’t difficult to use and it’s very quick to search information. On it I have a lot of apps:Snapchat,Musical.ly,Whatsapp,different games and Youtube.

On Youtube I watch a lot of famous videos of the important youtubers.

My favourite app is Whatsapp because I can talk with my friends,I can send or receive messages and I can share funny photos or videos.Instead on my computer I can surf the Internet on Google Chrome or write texts.

In my free time I can dance for a long time,about one or two hours.Dance is very important and exciting for me, indeed. I’m in a school dance and its name is ‘’Ritmo Danza Latin Fuego’’.

I practice this art about three or four times a week.I can also sing very well and I like it  too.I sing in all the moments: in the shower,when I do my homework,when I stay in the car with my parents and when I play with my cell phone.I’m really CRAZY about music!!!
