When the Hen Felt Blue

One day the hen woke up so blue

The saddest hen was she,

Nothing made her happy

She was blue as blue can be.

But then…

The sun sent her a sunbeam

A flower beamed a smile

A kind boy lent the hen his hat

For just a little while,

The cat brought her a great big gift

And likewise did the bee,

Now our Hen is happy,

Such a happy hen is she!
