One thousand years of solitude

Once upon a time in front of the military peloton, the colonel Aureliano Buendía thought about the day in which he met the snow thanks to his father. Macondo was at this time a little village next to a river with wild waters. All the years, in the month of march, a gypsy family visited the village and with them they brought the new inventions. The first of them was the magnetic stone. An old and big gyspy man, whose name was Melquíades did an extraordinary exhibition.

An miracle happened: the colonel Aureliano Buendia survived. But this is another story…
