Innovex 2017 is a large conference in Israel. Yossi Vardi invited Hagai Cohen and myself so we thought we had better go. Yossi was nowhere to be found. So we tried to meet people we didn’t know that we wanted to meet. Isn’t that what networking is all about? Liza took our registration. We knew it would be a great day.

Two kind gentlemen offered us free whisky. At eight in the morning. They are developing an automatic device for pouring beverages in bars. Bye bye, barmen.

Raanan is a cool psychologist who just developed an algorithm that can tell me what I want to be when I grow up, and what I should study. What can I tell you? Timing is all.

Tal Sofffer and her boss Tomer from the Chaterr.com company sold us on chatbots. We bot.

Prof. Maital’s son Noam is an apple that didn’t fall far from the tree. Investors in smart cities should keep an eye on this youngster, running a startup called Waycare.

And finally I had a great discussion with Zvika Weinshtock from C-urvision.com about innovation in companies, academia and elsewhere. It was such a stimulating discussion, that I forgot to take a picture. Oh well, see you at Innovex 2018!
