Today’s session is about: Thinking Between Boxes  Learning from mistakes and  Creativity as a Two Step Process. We’ll practice, play and have fun. 

Nava has asked me to start out by saying a few words about me.

I had a very nice career as a scientist. I went into a field (bad breath) which academics had generally shunned. I smelled thousands of people’s mouths (and other body parts) and published many papers. I was not successful in fighting cancer, though.

I invented one product that succeeded and a hundred or so that flopped, plopped and fizzled. Here’s a brief account. 

I believe that creative people do not think outside the box, beyond the box, or outside the square. They think between the boxes. Let’s have a look.

I also believe that creativity is a Two Step Process.

We’ll find out why and play a game or two (generating random words and then moving on to 48create).
