Once upon a time……
The year started with fun and adventure.
We introduced ourselves and began a journey of discovery.
We learnt about pirates and treasure,
how we look and what we like.
And then we started to read…..

We moved on to project work and web-quests.
And then we went hunting……on the internet
We looked up wild animals in Italy.
And we found some fantastic creatures.

We read the book, did some craft work and watch a short film.
And Father Christmas gave Janie a new book….

The Captain – by J3-1
Once upon a time there are 2 pirates,
their names are Frank and Trump.
One day Frank and Trump go fishing.
“Help! Help!” The 2 pirates hear a woman screaming.
The woman screaming is Lady Mary.
Lady Mary is a mermaid who can travel in time.
Captain Black Beard, the evil pirate captain, has captured Lady Mary.
Captain Black Beard’s dog is sick and the Captain wants Lady Mary
to travel back in time to help the dog .
Lady Mary escapes and she goes to a magical world.
She leaves a special code for Frank and Trump.
Frank and Trump find the message and
try to go to Lady Mary’s world.
Captain Black Beard is very angry, he is on a boat.
Then a big shark appears.
The shark eats the ship.
Captain Black Beard dies and becomes a seagull.
An then the Captain wakes up.
