Once upon a time, there was an old man who lived in a peaceful little house in the country. He had been alone for a too long time, so he decided to find a friend.

He went to the city and bought a goat, a young white and beautiful goat.

He built a bedroom with all a goat needs to live ; he was really happy to have met this new friend. That was a new life for the old man.

But he didn’t know one thing.

The little goat was selfish and didn’t really liked the old man. She was often dreaming of leaving the house. She needed a bigger place to live. So one day, because she was more naïve than bold, she left the house and went to the mountain.

But while she was climbing, she became afraid : « I certainly can find a more peaceful place to live » she thought.

Finally, just before the night fell, she heard the cry of a wolf, and ran away from the mountain.

That was enough for her !

She ran like her legs didn’t hear her ; and when she was at the feet of the mountain, she promised to never go again to the moutain.

Finally, she found a peaceful place to live in the wood next to the city, fell in love with a beautiful goat and had seven little goats.
