Once upon a time, in a small village near a forest, lived a poor family. The two parents had three children, a boy and two girls:
Gretel, the older girl,
Hanzel, the boy
and Hazel, the little sister.
Gretel was a pretty and very clever girl.
Hanzel was handsome and he loved playing with fowers in the garden.
And, Hazel was just a baby who was alway smiling.
These children were very kind.

But, for the parents, it was different.
They had no job.
They didn’t have enough money for their family.
They couldn’t send Hanzel and Gretel to school because it was too expensive for them.

One day, the father found a job; he bacame a baker, but he was paid miserably.
With his wife, they tried to find a solution to stop this life.
They had wishes :
to send their children to school,
to find a job with a good salary,
to take a baby-sitter for Hazel,
to go to live far away from the forest because they thought that the forest was too dangerous for their children, and beacause of that, their children couldn’t go school themselves or play in the garden without their parents.

This life was very difficult for the parents because when they were younger, they lived in a big house that they actually couldn’t buy.
This house looked like a castle of a fairy tale.
It was an amazing home.
It’s was a perfect life.

But, one day they decided to find a solution because they thought that they couldn’t live like that anymore :
“we have to find a solution. We have to send our children to school. It’s important for their future.” said the mother sadly.
“Yes, I agree with you ! But what can we do ? I have a job but I don’t have enough money.” replied the father.
“So, I will find a job and work all day and the night long. It’s all what we can do.”
“Yes but if you work who will take care of the children at home ? Hanzel and Gretel could go to school but there is Hazel.” asked the father.
“Just work ! I have a solution but it’s not important for you to know that now.” she replied.
“Okay, I believe you.”

A few days after, the mother found a job. She worked as a nurse.
She decided to do what she wanted to do with her children.

Then, she sent Hanzel and Gretel to the school.
They were very happy.
And their teacher tried to always understand them because she knew their story. It was a little difficult for them to follow the lessons but they were determined to have good results at school.
No thing could stop them.

A few months after, she decided to abandon Hasel in the middle of the forest.
Hasel was very afraid but she decided to play with the birds.

But then, a family was walking in the forest and found her.
They called all the families of the village but no one said that it was their daughter.
This family finally decided to adopt her.

The father asked the mother where Hazel was and she said the truth.
He was furious but he finally realized that it was better like that because they could have more money for the rest of the family and Hasel could have a good future.

But they didn’t know the family who had adopted their daughter.
It was a wicked family who hated children, especially girls.
Hasel’s new family sold her to get money.
She was very expensive but a rich family adopt her and sold her again.
All her life, the same story repeated again and again : her family sold her and an other bought her.
She became a sad, poor, ugly and bad-dressed girl.

Hanzel became an architect and Gretel, a nurse like her mother.
The parents were very proud of their two children but nostalgic about Hasel.
It was difficult for them to live without her.

Finally, Hasel died a few years after, killed by her new family …

Hanzel and Gretel bought a big house for their parents to say them thank you for everything.
They loved their parents.

But with all this happiness in their life, Hanzel and Gretel regretted to never had the possibility to see their little sister again.
So, they decided to make some research to find their sister.
But, many years after, they knew that she had died.
They were so sad but they couldn’t do anything.
And the parents felt guilty.

Moral : _ Don’t do anything for money because you could regret it.
_ The family links are important. Don’t forsakes anyone.
