The even rat problem

One day there was two snakes.

They had caught a rat.

The first snake opened his mouth and was about to take a bite until the next snake said” What do you think you are doing. I caught the rat. I should eat it.” “No way! I should eat it!” said the first snake.

 Suddenly a lizard heard the snakes and he decided to help them. He told the snakes to split so that way it is even[ equal ]. The two snakes split the rat in half.

The lizard yelled “wait” ” it is not even! let me help.” The lizard took a bite of the rat and gave it back.

As the snakes were about to angrily eat the rat, the lizard said” wait” and took a bite of the other rat piece to make it small and odd. The snakes were angry and both screamed “you made it look odd!”

The lizard said “fine, why don’t i eat the whole rat!” He ate the rat and stomped away. The two snakes were left lonely and were starving.
