The London Eye

The London Eye is the highest Ferris wheel in Europe. It has thirty-two closed passenger cabin. Each cabin contains twenty five passengers. The wheel turns around in 0.9 km per hour. The wheel turns slowly and it doesn’t stop when you get on or get off. You can see all of London from up there.
Tony blain, England’s prime minister planed to open the wheel for the crowd at the milenium ,(31.12.1999), but due to tecnical problems it opened only on March 2000. During its two first years of activity, 8.5 milion people visit the wheel and until this day it is one of the most popular tourits attraction.
