He was born in 1980 in Ordu. His lessons were very bad at high school. He was not good at maths  But he read a lot of books. He pondered over the experiments and  things about space. he constantly memorized the stars in the sky.

At the end of high school, he realized that he had to go to college to be an astronomer. He learned all of the lessons in a year from the 7th grade to the end of high school. He started math from scratch.

The lack of space exploration in Turkey couldn’t stop him.  He  chased after his childhood dream and chose the profession he wanted to do. He has been working  at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for four years as an Astrophysicist,  he is one of four Turks in the NASA staff of 5,000.

Dr. Umut Yildiz says to young people that  If they want to do something, if they have dreams, they need to get riskie.

You need to take risks for your dreams.
