THE SMURFS

The Smurfs are drawn characters that were created by Pierre Culliford in Belgium on the 50’s.

They are little blue people with white hats (Papa’s hat is red) that live in a small village in the middle of a forest.

There are 100 boys and 1 girl. Near them, there are Gargamel and his cat, Azrael living in an old ruined castle.

Almost all the Smurfs are a hundred years old or even older than that. Each one of them has a different talent that also become his name. For example, “Lazy Smurf”, “Grouchy Smurf”, “Brainy Smurf” and more. The original Smurfs were male, later female additions are Smurfette and Sassette—Smurfette being Gargamel’s creation, while Sassette was created by the Smurflings.

There are three movies of the Smurfs and in every one of them there is a massage.

• In the first movie (The Smurfs), the Smurfs come to New York by mistake and try to find ways to go back to their village.
• In the second movie (The Smurfs 2), they do almost the same thing that happened in the first movie, but now, they come to Paris.
• In the third movie (The Art of Smurs – The Lost Village), the Smurfs find another village that almost everything there is the opposite of their village. For example – all the Smurfs in the other village are girls (but there is not even one boy).

This is a children’s movie. They can enjoy the fun, adventure and mystery.

The smurfs will keep you alert during their adventures around the world and will lead you to the happy, but unexpected ending.

Kids will love being in a fantasy world for 90 minutes and find out again that the good ones always succed to overcome the obstacles of the villans.

I really enjoyed working alone this time. Sometimes it is a lot easier to write a review alone, since it is a personal opinion and not just facts. I choose this movie because I enjoyed it very much and I think it has a lovely plot.
