Keller grabs the letter from Chris’s hand and reads it. Keller realizes what happened to Larry and faints. Kate gets a wet towel and wraps it around his forehead. Chris takes the letter from the ground and reads it over and over – he can’t believe it, his brother killed himself as a result of his father’s actions. Chris is furious, he starts walking towards the house, Kate tried to intercept him, but Chris is relentless. Chris shouts as he goes towards the house: “I cannot believe that Larry, my own brother, killed himself because of my dad! After all of this time I finally found out the truth.” Keller is still unconscious on the floor while Kate and Ann take care of him. Chris heads upstairs to his dad’s secret drawer. He pulls out a gun. Chris is going down the stairs slowly, as if he is walking on glass. When he gets out of the house, he is overwhelmed with anger and points the gun towards his father. Chris starts yelling while Keller starts getting back on his feet: “YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!” The confused Keller starts mumbling and stuttering – “I… I didn’t mean (sobs deeply) to do this to my dear Larry.” But as Keller finished his sentence, it was too late, Chris has already shot him 2 bullets in the chest.” Kate and Ann were shocked. They started screaming and yelling as Chris started to slowly point his gun to himself while repeating “What have I done? This is my father! I am his only son!” Then, out of anger and confusion, he ended his own life. Kate and Ann started sobbing and crying like there is no tomorrow. Kate said to Ann: “Don’t take it on yourself, go, live your life.” Then, Kate laid down between her dead husband and son, and yelled to the sky as the police arrived.
