Lets Do it Together

Tommy is happy. Today is his first day at school.

“No no, says the white eraser, “no one is better than me. I can erase big things. I can do it, yes I can.”

The yellow glue stick is sad. “Oh no, I am all by myself and it is dark in here”, he says.

“See”, says the pencil case, “all of you are special and together you made a beautiful butterfly.”

The brown pencil, the white eraser, the red scissors and the yellow glue stick yelled out loud, “we can do it, yes we can!”
