This is some text! In red!!!!

 

How did we do that? Well, it’s not difficult really. 

 

The first step is to click on the source code icon on the top right of the editor. It looks like this <>

Type this in the source code before the text you want to color red. 

 

<p><span style=”color: red;”>

 

And then type this right after your text:

 

</span></p>

 

Let’s now change the red to orange and see whether it works as well in another color.

This is some text! In orange!!!!

 

How did we do that? Well, just by changing the ‘red’ to ‘orange’. Here is what the code source looks like. I’ve put it in italics. 

 

<p><span style=”color: orange;”>This is some text! In orange!!!!</span></p>

 

Now we can do it in any color we choose! As long as HTML recognizes it.

This is some text! In yellow!!!!
