The day Ann came to visit

Dear Diary,

I can not believe it but Ann is on her way to visit me! Can you believe it? She is coming all the way from New York! I think she is coming to visit me, well I hope so. I will be the happiest guy in the world if she is. We have been sending letters to each other for a while and I think she is the one.

Ann and I are getting married!!! I am so excited that she has the same feelings for me as I have for her. However, my mom will not love this idea. She still thinks that she is Larry’s girl but Larry is dead. I don’t know why she still believes that he is alive. It has been forever since the war ended. She still thinks that Ann is Larry’s girl but I don’t care about that because Ann and I are SOUL MATES, and I don’t care that Mother think that Ann is Larry’s girl because Ann is MY GIRL! I will do anything to get married to her. I love her so much!
