At lunch table i looked carefully over the diners, who may have wrote that letter but none of then seemed suspicious. Mr. Kelada was pretty calm and wasn’t thinking about that note too much.

After lunch time Kelada and I took a short nap and talked about life. I asked him what he think about the note and who is the mystery person. He told me that during the time on the ship he had a really long conversation with a men name AJ(this was his nickname). They talked about the purls industry and about the fact that Mr. Kelada had some alcohol even when the whole ship was bone-dry.

AJ was known as a very rich men but he didn’t had alcohol as Mr. Kelada had, so he told him that he will pay him as much as he wants and in return, Mr. Kelada will give him alcohol. So they made a deal, when Mr. Kelada will receive an envelop with advance payment, they will get the deal to happen. Because of that Max wasn’t disturbed not even for a second about that note, he already knew what will be on the deck at midnight. He explained to me that because it is illegal to have alcohol, especially to sell alcohol, they must meet with no one seeing them. But like every time, there is a catch, AJ was also known for being a very formal person. He was the owner of a very successful company in New York and he had his name stamped on everything he had, even on his envelops. But the envelop which we received didn’t had his name on it, and the letters were sloppy, something that wasn’t seemed like AJ work

Mr. Kelada thought that it was AJ and because he didn’t wanted to be expose about the deal they are making, he gave him a sloppy envelop that make it look like it wasn’t him. I agreed with his thoughts but I still thing something is strange.

At 11:50PM Mr. Kelada went to the deck when he asked me not to come with him so i stayed in the room waiting for him to come back. A few seconds after Mr. Kelada was gone, there was a small scraping sound and i saw another letter pushed under the door, but this time the letter had the letters AJ stamped on the back of the letter. In that moment i understood that something is going on the deck and Mr. Kelada wasn’t going to meet AJ. I ran to the deck and saw Mr. Kelada looking over the ocean and waiting. In the second I went to tell him what happened I saw someone coming forwards Mr. Kelada. I hide behind a wall and waited to see who is that person and what he wants from Mr. Kelada.

I didn’t see that person but what I did saw was a small person with a long coat that hide his face, I noticed that the coat was larger then the person who wore it and it seemed like that person didn’t wanted to be recognized. I tried to listen but i couldn’t hear anything but I saw that in the end of the conversation the mysterious person and Mr. Kelada hugged and he gave Mr. Kelada a box. After that moment the person with the coat got away and i went back to the room fast enough that Mr. Kelada won’t see me.

When Mr. Kelada got back to the room he told me about that strange meeting.

“It was Mrs. Ramsey.” he said, “she told me that about 6 months ago when ,Mr. Ramsey was still aboard, she met a guy in the supermarket, then spent about a month meeting everyday, talking about everything, she was so close to fall in love with him and she told me that she was a breath distance from cheating in Mr. Ramsey.” he took a sip from his glass and continued.

“with Mr. Ramsey she never felt special and with that men she met, she felt so pretty and strong. They went to a lot of dates in the most expensive places in New York, that men was the owner of the biggest jewelry store in New York, his store was placed in the Fifth Avenue. One day she found out that he had a wife and a whole family and that they are living in California but he went to New York for a year to open his store.

When she found about that she got so mad and wanted to revenge him, so with a little help from people she know, they broke in to his store and stole some of his jewelries and one of them is the pearls necklace she wore in the night of the bet. She went out clean from that whole situation but she didn’t want anyone to know about that, this is why she was so terrified that you, Mr. Kelada, will admit that you were right”. Mr. Kelada had a small smile on this face, a face that shows he was doing the right thing. In the box there was the pearls necklace and a 500$.

Mrs. Ramsey wanted to get away that story and for her to be able to forget about it, she needed to hide everything that had some connection to that story.

If you want to start a new chapter in life and forget about the mistakes from the pass, you need to end the previous chapter and get away all the bricks and rocks that disturb the incoming chapter.
