The official name is "Republic of Italy", English "Italy", Italian "Italia". The Italian flag was designed by French emperor Napoleon. The green hopes, the white fate, and the red in the sky represent charity. However, it is said that because of the famous Italian cuisine, green coloring rookay, white mozarella cheese and red tomatoes. In southern Europe, it is located on the Italian peninsula, similar to the coast. Sicily and Sardinia, the two largest islands of the Mediterranean, belong to Italy. France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia. The Renaissance was born in the province of Tuscany in Italy. The capital, Rome, has been the center of Western civilization for centuries, witnessing the birth of baroque style in architecture, and has been the center of the Catholic Church for centuries. It is a republic ruled by democracy and it is in the developed countries of the world. Alps are located on the northern border of the country, between Switzerland and Italy. There are many active volcanoes in Italy. Etna is the largest volcano in Europe. Other important volcanoes of Italy are Vesuvius, Stromboli and Vulcano. The climate characteristics of the country vary according to the regions. In general, the Mediterranean climate is seen in the country. Especially during the winter months high places are cold, rainy and often snowy. On the other hand, mild winters and warm and non-rainy summers are used in coastal areas. Italy is divided into 20 regions and there are 109 provinces in total. The largest population is in the capital Rome. Metropolis of the country is Milano, Rome, Napoli and Torino. While the majority of the country's population is locals, or Italians, the other members of the population are Romanians, Maghribs, Albanians, Chinese, Ukrainians, Asians (except Chinese), Latin Americans and Africans and other races. The Catholic sect of Christianity is the most common belief in Italy. Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism are also present in the country. The currency is in Euros. I hope for a visa from Turkish passport holders. The country is famous for fashion, brand and car production. Fiat, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini Italy's world famous car brands Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Valentino, Armani, Robert Cavalli, Benetton and Prada are the most famous fashion-textile brands. Italy is the fifth most visited country in the world rankings, the fourth country that earns the most from tourism. (WTO, 2009) The port of Genoa is the largest in Italy and the second largest in the Mediterranean. The country is extremely rich in cultural heritage items, as it has hosted the world's deepest nations like the Roman Empire and has the most important center of Christianity in the Vatican. Italian painters have given important products in every art movement in the country, from Roman and Gothic to Sanate, Renaissance and Baroque style.
