Information about Germany

 

After World War II, Germany was divided into occupied territories created and controlled by the Allies. On May 23, 1949, French, British and American occupation territories were merged to form the Federal Republic of Germany. On 7 October 1949 the German Democratic Republic, also known as East Germany, was established under Soviet occupation. On October 3, 1990, the two states united to form the present Federal Republic of Germany.

climate

 

Germany is bordered by Denmark in the north, Poland and the Czech Republic in the north, Austria and Switzerland in the south, Faransa and Luxembourg in the west, and Belgium and the Netherlands in the Central Europe. On the Alps in the South is the highest point of the country Zugspitze. (2,962 meters). In the north are the Baltic Sea and the North Sea coast. The central part of the country consists of forests and the north is the plains. It is the largest rivers of the Rhine, Danube and Elbe countries. In Germany there are natural resources such as iron, coal, potassium, uranium, copper, natural gas and nickel.

Germany has a temperate climate in general. The climate is also affected by the westerly winds that carry moisture and the warm North Atlantic Currents. It rains abundantly in all seasons. The winters are not too cold, and the summers are not too hot. More terrestrial climate features are observed in eastern regions.

Medieval City Quedlinburg

 

When you come to Quedlinburg, it is not your work that you feel as if you have been back on time. Köln

 

The first cologne produced in Cologne in 1709 is from the famous city, and there is even a cologne museum in the city. Built on the River Rhine, this elegant city is renowned for its twin towers. In Cologne, where a large chocolate museum and Hohenzollern Bridge covered with “love locks” exist, lovers have a love of never-ending love, throwing the key to the locks they lock onto the bridge.

Bratwurst

 

We know the German sausage is famous, but we know more about Frankfurter. Bratwurst A white sausage variety made from veal or porcini. You can also taste the smoked salmon in this crowded square of every city, up to 15 cm in length, which you can taste in our bratwurst selling buffets like toast and hot dogs. The price of bratwurstun, which is served with plenty of mustard between round breads (Brötchen), is also very affordable, it is possible to eat for 2-3 €.

Kartoffelsalat

 

The most famous side dish of Germany is the Almond of Kartoffelsalat potato salad, but the flavor we know does not quite match. This potato salad with plenty of mayonnaise and mustard, with little greenery is almost the only food sold at the bratwurst buffets alongside sausages. Cafés and restaurants can be found near most meats.

Currywurst

 

Currywurst is another flavor of the Germans who frequent sausage in street food. After being cooked, the sausages, which are found with a blinded ketch, are again sprinkled with curry and served on a paper plate. It earns its hearts with its taste and price of 2-3 €.
