What is earth day?

For our newest project we will be doing a service for the community by reminding people of ways to save the earth.

Do you know how we can help save the earth?  Watch this Video for some ideas!

You may be wondering “what will our project be?”

We will use our art skills to decorate paper grocery bags in honor of Earth Day for the local grocery store (Piggly Wiggly).  On Earthday the grocery store will use our bags to package their customers groceries.  The customers will look at and think about the design and message you put on the bag.

What will be the best way to decorate these bags?

When working on our bags we need to consider what type of theme our imagery is of.

While looking at these pictures think about what was successful and what was not.  What will you do to make your designs even better?

Before we get started…..  

Research some different Earth Day images that you might like to draw for the earth day bags.  Upload 3 images to our dropbox using your name code.

When we begin working on our imagery on the grocery bags we have some important things we will need to consider such as imagery, quality, representation, and copyright.
