 A Covering for the Mezbeach – Passukim; א‬-ה

God spoke to Moshe saying pass this onto Aharon when he is alone

Aharon should pass it onto the jews and make it well known

” Take the firepans and make them flat ” why in the word would Hashem say that? 1 (עָשׂ֨וּ אֹתָ֜ם רִקֻּעֵ֤י פַחִים֙ צִפּ֣וּי לַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ) 

Was it for a hat or a was it for a mat? No, no , no it was for none of that!

It was for the mezbeach’s copper topper, and boy was that copper topper a real show stopper!

It reminder all the jews that acting like Korach was bad bad news!

1 (and they shall be as a reminder: A remembrance so that people will say, “These [plates] are from those who disputed the kehunah and were burnt.” -ויהיו לאות)

Benai Yisrael’s Reaction to the 250 Men Dying – Pussukim; ו-י

Benai Yisraels families were all dead or dying

Benai yisrael could not stop crying

” Our friends and family are all dead! Now you’ll never live to see the end!” 2 (מִתֶּ֖ם אֶת־עַ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה:)

They gathered in an angry mob 3 (וַיְהִ֗י בְּהִקָּהֵ֤ל הָֽעֵדָה֙ עַל־משֶׁ֣ה וְעַל־אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן)

They went to Aharon and Moshe and began to sob

When God saw this his angry began to rise , how dare they say Aharon and Moshe were bad guys?

They were in for a very unpleasant surprise he would create a plague and watch as the jews die

The Punishment / Aharon and the Angel of Death – Passukim  י”‬א – ט”ו

Moshe spoke to Aharon and said “I know exactly what to do, because I spoke to angel and he said what he knew.”

2 ( Rashi –  This secret was given over to him by the angel of death when he went up to heaven )

Take the fire mezbeach and put it on the firepan then run run run as fast as you can!

Go in between the living and dead and the plague will stop to spread. 4 ( וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֥ד בֵּֽין־הַמֵּתִ֖ים וּבֵ֣ין הַֽחַיִּ֑ים וַתֵּֽעָצַ֖ר הַמַּגֵּפָֽה:)

Aharon did as Moshe said, but by the time it came to an end, fourteen thousand seven hundred were already dead.

The Staff Lesson – Pussukim;‬ ט’‬’ז – ‬כ”‬ו

God spoke to Moshe and told him the plan

this is how we’ll prove that Aharon the man.

gather twelve sticks for twelve tribes

the leaders names should be inscribed.

5 ( שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר מַטּ֑וֹת אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־שְׁמ֔וֹ תִּכְתֹּ֖ב עַל־מַטֵּֽהוּ:)

place them near the Ohel Moed around Aaron’s stick

so that none of them will be able to say it was all a trick

charon’s stick will blossom with buds, almonds and a flower or too

3 ( ויגמל שקדים – this fruit blossoms quicker than other fruits. Likewise, he who opposes the kehunah; his punishment comes quickly, )

so when the jews see Aharon they will change their bad thoughts and negative views

moshe hung up he stick or the rebells as a sign

to remind them that Then their complaints against Hashem will end and they will not die (וּתְכַ֧ל תְּלֽוּנֹּתָ֛ם)

Benai Yisrael are Worried About the Rules of the Mishcan – Passim; כ”ז – כ”ח

The jews went to Moshe and stared to cry, “all hope is all we’re all gonna die!”

Whoever goes closest to the mistaken dies?

Is this your final goodbye?

Have you left us here to die?

Is that what you’re trying to imply?
