Funzing is a Fun Thing

Today Lily Reider introduced me to the funzing website,
www.funzing.com. It’s very cool.
You can offer to do all kinds of activities (shows, lectures and workshops) for money or for free, in any location.
There are limits. I am guessing that if you want to have a jam session in the prime minister’s office you need permission from a higher authority.

I spoke to the co-founder Avigur, and promised him to come up with some new ideas.
For example, I know a guy who has wanted for years to start his own religion. It’s based on the discovery of the holiness inherent in yellow cheese. No problem with location – any grocery store could turn into a house of worship.

I have always wanted to explain how to tie your shoes properly so they don’t come undone. Did you know that just last year 14,039 people were mangled by escalators because their shoe laces got caught?
Neither did I, but I love making up statistics. People will have to bring their own shoes. And laces.

How about meeting up at the airport and flying off somewhere. You could have a lecture about Barcelona. In Barcelona. I don’t know why I’m publishing this here, it’s actually not such a bad idea.
