Although we didn’t spend 6 years in Yohanani,we have a lot to share.
When we first came to Yohanani, in the beginning of second grade,

we were very nervous and excited.

On one hand, we had a hard time to catch up with the learning material,

but on the other hand, it was quite easy to make new friends.

We remember how on the fisrt day of second grade, once we

entered the classroom, we were already surrounded by many friends.

Thinking back at it, and wierd to say, that we weren’t as close friends like we are now.

I (Shira) even remember that Carmel had a very good and close friend,

that I didn’t like at all, and in my opinion she was a bad influence on her.

After a big fight, they ended their friendship. From then on, we got to know

eachother better and got closer and closer until we could call ourselves

“BEST FRIENDS”

During third grade, I (Carmel) already managed to catch up with

the learning material, while Shira had a significantly harder time doing that.

I remember myself helping Shira with homework when ever she needed,

that also made our friendship even stronger and more and more unbreakable.

After two intense years of herd work and trying to catch up,

fourth grade was a great relief. I (Shira) remember myself

starting to even help Carmel with the homework she needed help with.

Carmel spent evevry thursday in a different school

(as a part of aschool program), and she missed a lot of science lessons.

Because of that, she was very stressed and needed my help with her homework.

In fifth and sixth grade the main event was our

costume in purim. Our costume was salt and pepper.

Our classmates loved our costume, and the teachers found it atraction as well.

We made it ourselves and it came out very pretty.

It wasn’t very hard to make and it took us only 2 hours. Carmel’s mom bought us

hats and Shira’s mom helped us make the costume.

We remember that the first idea was to dress up as ying & yang, but when we thought about it,

it was very hard to execute. There we’re a few more ideas, but the best one was salt and pepper,

and we thought it was original.
