Summury :
This story is about 8 years old girl named Fern and she sees her father go by with an anx ready to kill a newborn pig. Fern offers to take care of the baby pig and feed the pig to avoid being killed. Mr. Arable, father of Fern, agrees and gives him the pig. She named him Wilbur, he was a lovely white pig and pink ears, he loved to drive him with his dolls, feed him with bottles and keep him warm in his little house. However, after two months, Wilbur grew significantly and Fern could not take care of him, so he gives it to his uncle who has a farm near his home.
Wilbur then begins to feel very lonely, as he no longer had Fern around all the time and none of the
animals on the farm seemed friendly enough. One night, crying after having a bad day, she hears a voice
that says “I will be your friend Wilbur”. Since she does not see anyone because she is so dark, she waits for
the next morning to see who was the one who said she would be her friend. Then a beautiful and fine spider
appears before him, Charlotte. Then start a great friendship.
When Wilbur learns that he is likely to be killed for bacon in the winter, the only one who intends to save him is Charlotte, who after thinking of a plan begins to weave words in his web, so that everyone believes that Wilbur is an extraordinary pig and magical.
When Wilbur meets Charlotte and she tells him that in order to survive he must kill other insects and drink his blood, he gets scared and does not explain how someone as beautiful and delicate as Charlotte can be so cruel. He even came to believe that it was strange to be friends with someone like that, because he would never harm another animal like that. But Charlotte patiently explains to him that it is part of his nature to have to feed on others, because otherwise he would die, because contrary to Wilbur (to whom every day they brought food to him where he was, without having to move a finger) She did not have anyone to see for her needs. Wilbur then understands this point and changes his way of seeing Charlotte. Breaking his prejudice against Charlotte’s way of life made him able to establish a closer friendship with her.
Wilbur knows and the other animals keep remaining him that his death is done unless something extraordinary happens or someone saves him.At the Zukerman farm where he also befriends an old sheep, a goose and the Templeton rat, among others.
In this story, there are very important themes and values like feelings, survivial, friendship, intelligence, coexistence, etc.
Chalotte’s Web is a sensitive and tender story about friendship and loyalty. The close bond between an intelligent spider and a friendly pig is an invitation to reflect on the value of life and everything in it.
In my opinion, I recommend this book because even if it is a book for children, it can also be read by people of all ages, for example, this type of books can be read by parents for their young children and to teach them the value of friendship. . Especially this book I like because I identify with Fern because I also like animals and especially help them.

“It is deeply satisfying to win a prize in front of a lot of people.”
― E.B. White, Charlotte’s Web
This appointment is very important for most people because as it says the appointment is very satisfying and it feels good to win a prize and that people see how amazing it is to win something as long as a person strives to win and that all those people who are in front of you admire you and can see you as a role model.
