The story about a pig a named Wilbur. He is a young pig new to the world and he learns a lot of thing from his friend Charlotte the Spider. Wilbur is being fed to then later get killed for food but Charlotte plans on saving him.

 

Wilbur: He is a kind and young pig. He is naive at first but learns about life because of Charlotte.

 

Charlotte: She is a grey spider that lives on top of Wilbur’s pen. She is like a mother to Wilbur and she is very wise.

 

Fern Arable: She is the daughter of the farm’s owner. She is a sweet 8 year old girl that saves Wilbur.

 

Wise: Someone who has wisdom.

Pen: enclosure for a pig or pigs.

Naive: Innocent, missing experience

loyalty: quality of being loyal

axe: tool to cut trees.

nursing: to take care of.

barn: A building for farm animals.

near-sighted: You can only see from close.

 

1.“Wilbur never forgot Charlotte. Although he loved her children and grandchildren dearly, none of the new spiders ever quite took her place in his heart. She was in a class by herself. It is not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a good writer. Charlotte was both.”

This means that Charlotte was very important to Wilbur and that no one could replace her.

2.“Never hurry and never worry!”

This means that you should do not worry and take life easy.

I would recommend this book to people. I thought it was really cute and had a lot of values and it was easy to read.
