The First Experience in Year 5D

In Autumn Term (the first term), I was quite nervous about meeting Mrs. Owoseni because I noticed that during the other terms, she has been raising her voice at me a lot, but when I told her that I would give her a gift the next day, I started to forgive her – she even give me hug. I was also able to make some new friends like Monjo, Jordin, Albert and many more friends then things turned out very well. I also enjoyed doing some major subjects done in school for example Literacy, Numeracy, e.t.c. .I also enjoyed doing different clubs during the school year for example, dance club, swimming, etc.

My Field Trip

I had 2 dynamic field trips in the Autumn and Spring term for the academic session. My first trip was not easy for me to handle, while the field trip to the free zone was on track, I had a really bad case of the cough which made my day a challenge. My trip to the bread lounge was very interesting because I got to do what I love the best… BAKING!. I baked 2 small pizzas, one for me and for my mum. Unfortunately, I didn’t go for a field trip during the summer term because I was too busy on that term. I had to practice for my KS2 production (My Fair Lady).

CLASS PARTY!

Class Parties was the best part of Autumn and Summer term. We didn’t get any homework and we were even allowed to play whenever we want. I left home early after class party because I had swimming training with Gabby. I also participated in the dance club assembly (the time I got to showcase what I have been learning in dance club).

Inter-House Events

During the school year, I participated in different Inter-House events. I really enjoyed the Choir Challenge, each house got to sing one same song but in different ways. Willow (my house) won that event because the judges actually loved the performance than the rest of the houses. Sports day didn’t go as planned at all because even though we one match point, we didn’t managed to win the sports day trophy. At least I came second in my sack race. Swimming Gala was not a time for me to give up, I was swimming fast as I could and because of that, I came in 1st place (which won me a gold medal) in 25 meters race. However, We still had a mystery of the winning house for swimming gala.

BIRTHDAYS!

When it was someones birthday,we always celebrated them by cutting the cake and taking boy an girl pictures.

The day after my birthday was when I was cutting the cake, however, we almost didn’t because a lot of people were making noise. I shared the cake with other teachers and friends in Year 5. Sometimes, the birthdays we celebrated in the school year was also the day we do production and class party but we always celebrate their birthdays on the exact day, before or after the date of our birthday.
