INTRODUCTION

My journey through CIS has been one to remember. From the outstanding teachers to the incredibly friendly class mates I’ve met on the way and I have high expectations for CIS secondary school. Although I’ve had my ups and downs and doubted the abilities of my teachers they always proved me wrong. And I will never forget my parents for pushing me forward during tough times and teaching me things I’ll never forget. If you were to ask me who my favourite teacher is it would no doubt be my parents.

MY FIRST YEAR

My first year in CIS was one I will never forget. It was the year I made my first set of friends who till date still remain my friends. Although some of my friends left more friends came and even when my other friends left I was sad but eventually my other friends always helped me get through it, it wasn’t that big of a deal anyway.

My first year was also the first set of teachers I had. Once I walked into my classroom I noticed a familiar face sitting on a large desk near mine. It was a teacher, an assistant teacher to be specific. She was a friend of mine from my old school’s mother. It was Mandy Ejaife’s mum, Mrs Ejaife, she was really nice and kind and she helped when I needed help.

Year 4

Year 4 wasn’t too much of an eventful year. Except for the fact that my best friends and I had been separated. I knew I would miss them but again they were literally right next door. Anyway, In year 4, I made several good friends that are still with me. For example Toni, Kika and of course Derin. Year 4 was also the last time I joined Brownies and the 1st time I joined Football. And that to me was a great decision.

I also met one of my favourite teachers in year 4. Many people thought that she was mean including me until I joinedn her class. She wasn’t mean but she was actually just strict. Mrs Hampton unfortunately left and was replaced by several teachers until Miss Okenini came along and was our teachers for a while.

YEAR 6

Year 6 isn’t exactly over but to me it basically is which is the year I’m in typing this 🙂
