We all need to know the difference between the words there, their and they’re. So to clarify, let’s add some images.
If we are talking about a physical place and if you can replace it with the word “here,” then you use the word “there.” Such as, “We went there on vacation.”

Now when we use the word they’re we should be able to replace it in a sentence with they are. “They’re” is the conjunction word for they are. For example, “They’re going to the football game tonight.”

Now the last word is “their” and seems kind of tricky to learn. The word “their” will be used to show possession which is a lot of times followed by a noun. A couple examples would be, “Don’t go to their house.” Also, “That is their dog that you are holding.”

This youtube video shows an easier understanding of the difference between the words.

I chose this website to help better explain because it gives really good examples of how to use the different yet, similar words.
