Summer Holidays

I went to Rome with my family for four days.We stayed in a hotel near the Vatican. We went on a walking tour of the centre and the Vatican, we did some sightseeing in Rome: the Colusseum, Fontana di Trevi and so on. Mostly, we went to restaurants and sampled as much of the local cuisine. It’s a fascinating place but it’s quite touristy too. The best thing was visiting the monuments, which are out of this world. I liked the monuments and the history of Rome but there is much traffic for my tastes. When I liked the Colusseum it’s overwhelming, it’s very beautiful, very big and crowded. After the first day I went to explorer the city and it was stunning. I like the Colusseum most of all.
