Fortnite is still one of the most popular. Here’s our guide to the basics, and tips for encouraging children to play safely and in moderation.

What is Fortnite and how do you play it?

In Fortnite, players collaborate to survive in an open world environment, by battling other characters who are controlled either by the game itself, or by other players, Violence is cartoonish. But Fortnite’s most popular mode is its standalone free – to play multiplayer platform, Fortnite Battle Royale, in which up to 100 players enter an online game, competing individually or duo and squad, to be the last player standing within a ever decreasing battle arena.

To play, players to create an account by providing an email address, which they’ll have to verify, and creating a username (the game for all ages).

Why is Fortnite so popular?

-it’s a free and available in all the platforms (PC, Ps, Xbox and more…)

-The game is simple, but challenging. Each game is about 20-30 minutes hence can be played full times.

-The game includes purchases of various characters, and weekly updates that add more to the game.

In- game purchases

There is a possibility of buying money for the game (v bucks). With this money you can buy the Battle Pass of the current season, and with weekly and daily tasks you can get up at the levels of the Battle Pass and get skins, dances, stickers and even more bucks to buy the next season’s Battle Pass. The purchases do not help you win and they are only for beauty.
