BIOGRAPHY
Nicholas was born on 4 December 1982 in Melbourne, Australia.
He was born with “Tetra – Amelia Syndrome”, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs.
After he was born his mother refused to see him or hold him when the nurse held him in front of her, but eventually she accepted the condition and understood it as “God’s plan for her son”.
After undergoing an operation, Nick has two small and deformed feet, one of which he calls his “chicken drumstick” because of its shape.
EARLY LIFE
Nick’s life was hard and with many obstacles.
In the beginning when everyone went to school, he couldn’t go because of his disabilities although he didn’t have a mental or an intellectual problem.
After a while he was one of the first disabled people that was integrated into a school in that time.
When Nick was young he was a victim of bullying at his school.
At the age of eight he considered committing suicide and at the age of ten he tried to drown himself. During that time, he prayed to GOD to grow him arms and legs.
Despite all his obstacles Nick learned how to write with two of his fingers in his left foot, use a computer, brush his teeth, brush his hair, shave, drink a glass of water, pick up the phone, throw a tennis ball and even to drum and all of this he can do by himself.
In addition, Nick finished university at the age of 21 with a double degree Accounting and Financial Planning.



AWARDS
In 2005, Nick founded “Life Without Limbs”, an international nonprofit organization.
In 2007, he founded “Attitude is Altitude”, a secular motivational speaking company.
In 2010, he was awarded best actor in a short film for starring performance as Will.
In August 2011 “Attitude is Altitude” released a single and a music video by Nick called “Something more”.
Until today Nick has given lectures in front of three million people in more than 24 countries in five countinents.

PERSONAL LIFE
In February 12, 2012 Nick married Kanae Miyahara.
They have four beautiful children, two boys and in December 2017 Kanae gave birth to twins girls.
